Chase to Talk

I wanna talk,
I ask to talk,
I crave to talk,
I cry to talk,
I literally chase to talk... to you-

in the times that we should...
embrace to bring comfort and reassurance to one another's soul..
like a melody so familiar, but never old,
You instead nestle in your past wounds, 
not skipping a beat or a tune. 

But- I still wanna talk,
I ask to talk,
I crave to talk,
I cry to talk,
I literally chase to talk... to you-

in the times that we should...
look into each other's eyes- and know that these emotions are temporary,
we instead engage with feelings ever so unordinary.
It fills us up with passion, that questions our reactions.
Walls are up, temptations are down.
You're in a haze, like no one is around.

But- I still wanna talk,
I ask to talk,
I crave to talk,
I cry to talk,
I literally chase to talk...to you-

However now, that is no longer,
Because in the end- the pain that I once felt, only made me stronger.
I'm done chasing...
and I learned to love myself more than the hurt that I was erasing.

So, I wanna talk,
I ask to talk,
I crave to talk
I will just no longer cry and chase to talk... to you.

My feelings for you were just a thought in my head, unwillingly choosing to express them, as nothing was said. You often stood in my presence, with a sheer essence, that illuminated my eyes, as though I was completely hypnotized.   The moment I met you, I was sure I knew, that we shared a common interest, However that was a feeling that I didn't want to risk.
